Only in the Midwest

So its offically been a month since we moved to Chicago. All I can say is that the Midwest is a whole different kind of place.....here's some reasons why....

1. Chris and I went to the store to get ice-cream on a friday night and they don't have Dreyers...it's called Edys! Same brand, Same ice-cream just a different name. Strange! What's the point?

2. Driving around the towns instead of Carls's Jr....it is called Hardees...same logo, same food...different name...why....

3. I wake up and it is sunny and beautiful outside..ten minutes later I look out and it is pouring down rain...rain drops are buckets of water...I had my first tornado warning at work! The wind was crazy!

4. We were driving to work and a car just went right over the island dividers, we were like, "what the heck!" Then we notice everyone does it! They just drive right on to the divider! (Mom you would definitely fit in)

We do have to say, the people are extremely friendly, I have never felt so welcomed in a neighborhood, or ward!

hahaha Jill. The same thing happened to me. In New Hampshire and here in Mississippi it is the same about the Edy's and Hardee's. I was so confused when I saw Edy's at the grocery store. Evan thought I was crazy and said it was always Edy's, but I came home and googled it. Dreyer's. That's what it is. So weird. :)
