So I know I have been blogging a lot lately but I had to share this great story! I turned 23 on Tuesday and I told Chris all I want for my birthday was a home made cake! A good, real birthday cake! He insisted on going out to eat or to a movie but I decided we do that every birthday..I wanted something a little different and more personal. So Tuesday turned out to be a busy day at work so Chris wasn't able to make the cake! I was in tears..( I am pregnant so a little emotional) So today I woke up from a nap with our kitchen covered in cake batter...even on the floor! When I asked what he was doing he just smiled and said, "Just baking your cake!" This wasn't just any cake but home made with buttermilk and egg whites! So he puts it in the oven...all of a sudden the kitchen is smoking..we open the oven and the cake over flowed and spilled on the bottom leaving the oven covered in smoke! We fixed it and kept baking but when Chris took the cake out of the pans it crumbled! It is my favorite birthday cake ever..I have never seen someone try so hard or take so much time!! I love that boy!

PS i feel horrible i missed Jessica last weekend! Macie was way sick and we spent the day at the hospital! She is good now, well actually she barfed this morning...(just a little something you get to look forward to know!!:) Anyways if you talk to her tell her i feel awful!

Happy birthday Jill! (really late now). That is such a cute story but so funny! I had to show BJ the picture of the cake and he was laughing so hard and so loud! You remember how loud BJ laughs when he thinks something is really funny?

That's really funny because Dave tried to make me breakfast for my birthday and it was a total disaster! It was all mushy and stuff. That's pretty funny...must be a guy thing!
I need to know. Am I goign to have a nephew named Orson or a neice named Matilda. Orson and Matilda kinda go together/
