When do I move him to his crib??? I know it is coming soon since he will be three months in October but I am having a little separation anxiety! I love having him so close. He sleeps so well that I am scared if I move him to his crib he might wake up more. So we have been playing in his crib, maybe it will make the transition easier!

Theres no set time you have to move him. Most parents just move them because THEY can't sleep... like us! I couldnt sleep cuz I kept hearing every snort and whimper so after like 6 weeks he was outta there :) But Ive known plenty of people who shared their room with their babies without a problem. Where does he sleep right now? in your bed or in a bassinet or cradle next to you?

We switched Lyla over when she was 2 months old... just as we moved over here. It was nice because it was a change of environment anyway that we just decided to make the changes all at once. Maybe you could do it after your trip in Oct/Nov? I'd say, you still have a little bit but you don't wait too long because the longer you wait, the harder it will be for him (my opinion).
Whever you are ready mostly. If you want to switch him over start with him napping in crib first. Thats what I did with Elijah and that was at 6 months. I think that might have helped him to get used to it. But he was in are room for about 3 months and then a few months in the Pack and PLay just out side are room and then with Noah. And now they are best buds. How are things going over there in IL?
