Chris and I have a list of what we want to do in Illinois and Springfield has been on that list since we moved out here,its the state capital. So this past weekend we packed our car for a weekend road trip. Our good friends the Allens came with us. It was fun driving out there and staying in a Hotel one night. Springfield really was a lot smaller than expected. On Sat we went to the Lincoln Museum, we are in the land of Lincoln. It was really interesting and sad. Of course Angie and I ended up in the kids room playing blocks and Lincoln logs. Very educational!!! I am glad we did it!
