Empire State of Mind

Yes...this is our new home..New York! Chris got a job out in Manhattan so we are heading to the Big Apple! If you would have told me five years ago that I would be raising a family in New York, I would have laughed! My small hometown did not prepare me for this. It is bitter/sweet for us....saying we are going to be sad to leave is an understatement. We love everyone here in Chicago!

We are excited for this new adventure in our life..Moving out 34 weeks pregnant, as well as having a baby the following month and unpacking! Good thing we have an awesome family.

The best part for us is that our boys get to have cousins!!!!

OH. MY. GOODNESS. That's big news! Moving during the third trimester? I feel your pain on that one. But, you'll do great, you're tough. Congratulations on the job. Keep posting to keep us in the loop!

I was listening today to the song Wide open spaces remember it by the dixie chicks. I remember you singing it as you were leaving for school for the first time away from home. My heart hurt just a little thinking about it. But then I thought what a wonderful adventure you and Chris are having and I had to smile. I love you guys. I miss you like crazy. But I am so happy for you.
